Dhows and Driftwood


All my furniture is made from reclaimed wood. The wood comes from traditional fishing boats, ngalawa or mashua that have become too old and damages to use anymore. The wood from the the ngalawa is mango and from the mashua it is mninga, both African hardwoods.
The construction is all by Tanzanian carpenters . Each piece of furniture is unique worked from the design suggested by the shape of the sea weathered wood.
